Siena's Palio Horse Race

The Palio Horse Race, which takes place in Campo Square, is one of the most famous popular Italian manifestations, and it became a great tourist attraction too. Only ten of seventeen contradas take part in the historical pageant, and three days before the race at every horse is entrusted a contradas.
