It's been 3 years, exactly since 2005, of MAEC, and Etruscan Museum of the City of Cortona.
Together with the inauguration of six new exhibition halls, from September 7 at the Palazzo Casali in square Signorelli you can admire a selection of masterpieces Etruscans coming from St. Petersburg's Hermitage.
Those who Anna Trofimov, chief of the department of Greek and Roman antiquities of the State Hermitage Museum, had selected for the event are some thirty artefacts, some never seen so far in Italy.
The collaboration with the great Russian museum shows once more the importance of Cortona, the Tuscan city with rich tradition in terms of archaeological studies and research.
The fans and art lovers can not miss such an interesting initiative, in progress until 9 January 2009.
Hours: Until Oct. 31 every day from 10 a.m.to 7 p. From November 1 to Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m.ti 5p.m.. Closed Mondays and Dec. 25.
