"This was our first time in Florence, and we are very pleased with our choice "A Beautiful Florence" B & B. The hosts were gracious as were also the guests. We like to make our vacations for ourselves and find our way on our own by bus, walking etc. This B & B fit our style remarkably well. We would certainly choose to stay here when we visit Florence again. Ken and Laurel United States "

"Given all the great reviews/ratings that I read, I was quite disappointed. You get what you pay for, but the two areas that were unacceptable were my bed and the bathroom. Everything else is not great but acceptable given the price. And I've stayed in places that have been much worse and much better all around the world, so I'm no hotel/hostel/B&B novice nor do I have unfair expectations. Anyway, back to the B&B... My mattress had a huge indentation in it...it felt like a 200Kg man had been sleeping there for years. So I had to move over toward my wife's mattress (the full size beds are actually two single mattresses put together on a full/queen-size metal cot frame). The bathroom floor would always get flooded because the shower curtain was too short. So unless I took a minute-long shower or only turned on the water to rinse off the soap, the whole floor would be filled with water. Good thing we brought flip flops. Lastly, the floor in our room looked dirty. It may not have been, but it just looked dirty. Again, I'm glad I brought flip flops. Breakfast consisted of plastic wrapped pastries (like the ones that are 10 for 1 Euro) and boxed juices. We avoided those like the plague. Looks like a lot of Italian B&Bs offer continental-type breakfasts. I had a peek into another one of the rooms, and it wasn't much better. So either people who gave it such high reviews are used to a lower standard of accommodation in Italy or the owners of this place had it in for us. Also, there aren't a lot of reviews in English about this place on the internet, so I'm thinking this is more of an place suited to Italian tastes. Of course, not including the cheap Ikea lamps they had in our room. And the problems we had are not detectable through pictures. You actually have to experience it yourself. But hopefully you won't have to. "

"un ottimo compromesso a prezzi modici, il trattamento è perfetto, e tutto il resto anche. L'unico problemino, ma non troppo evidente, è la leggera rumorosità della stanza, ma per il resto lo consiglio fortemente a tutti !!!!"
