Brolio Quinto built in the 19th century, in a panoramic position with a spectacular view of the old castle of Montecchio and Cortona, is a farmhouse surrounded by a fully-fenced 4.5-hectare park, with a nice private swimming-pool (6x14 m) in a panoramic and sunny position, fully equipped with beach-umbrellas, deck-chairs and sunbeds. A barbecue and other equipment are available to eat in the open air.
On two floors the farmhouse offers the first floor to it guests as the owners (mother, father and daughter) live on the ground floor, and take care of welcoming their guests and managing the agricultural estate (some 80 hectares).
Leisure activities: picturesque horse-riding (stables 1 km) in Valdichiana, a nice way to peacefully discover the surrounding and unspoilt countryside; trekking and mountain-bike rental.

On the second floor of the farmhouse there is a 180mq apartment for up 7/9 people (access by typical stone stairs and panoramic loggia) provided with: living-room with a large fire-place, a sitting room with a sofa-bed for two additional sleeps, a kitchen-dining room, a bedroom with two beds (may be converted into double bed), a double room, a bathroom with shower, and a large double room with private bathroom and Jacuzzi. The apartment is tastefully decorated and welcoming, in line with the cottage atmosphere.
The apartment is equipped with a washing-machine, television and dvd.

Where We Are

The cottage is at a height of 320 mt, near the old route connecting Foiano to Castiglion Fiorentino with a spectacular view of the old castle of Montecchio and Cortona (just 9 kms ) , just a few minutes’ drive from the farmhouse. S. Savino Mountain, Lucignano and the Trasimeno Lake are all quite close, offering plenty of cultural attractions and folklore of international renown.
